We train our Board members so do not let your lack of experience scare you off! Applicants must be at least 18 years old, a "member-in-good standing", and have time to dedicate to the credit union's governance. The deadline to apply for this year is March 15, 2008 so that background checks may be completed in a timely fashion.

Call for Nominations For Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of Chino Federal Credit Union has appointed the Nominating Committee for next year's Board elections.

One position on the Chino Federal Credit Union's Board of Directors will become vacant. The names of at least three qualified candidates will be placed on the ballot and they will stand for election at the next Annual Membership Meeting scheduled for March 25, 2009.

To be considered for a Board position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Have broad knowledge and experience in business management;
Have a desire to serve your fellow members as a volunteer Director;
Have the flexibility to attend monthly Board meetings;
Be a Chino Federal Credit Union member in good standing;
Be at least 18 years old

Interested members who meet the above qualifications should mail their letters of application listing their qualifications. All applicants will be required to sign a letter allowing the Credit Union to conduct a credit and background check before their name is placed on the ballot.
