I want you...
To Attend This Year's Annual Membership Meeting At The Bayard Community Center on March 24th, 2009 at 6:00 PM

It is time once again for your credit union's annual membership meeting. The 54th annual membership meeting will be held at the Bayard Community Center in Bayard New Mexico on March 24, 2009 at 6:00 P.M. Registration begins at 5:00 P.M.

Your credit union encourages all members (that's you!) to attend this years' annual membership meeting. As a member owned financial organization, your involvement is important in guiding your credit union to provide the best products and services possible. Members will have the chance to meet with the Board of Directors, Supervisory Committee and employees of your credit union.

Projects that your credit union has planned for 2009 will be announced. Some of these projects include our conversion to a new core processor and our community outreach programs such as our Balance Financial Fitness Program. Suggestions for other community outreach projects will be accepted from the membership for consideration.

Any member of the credit union in good standing is eligible to run for the Board of Directors. Candidates for the Board of Directors will make their presentations during the Candidates Forum. Incumbents will run again and nominees from the membership can be called from the floor. You, the membership, will then elect members to the Board of Directors for 2009.

The Board also will present the financial position of the credit union. The Statement of Financial Condition and Statement of Income will be provided to all attendees. An open forum for the membership to address the Board of Directors will also be held.

Refreshments will be served with the hospitality of Cobre High School.

Join the Supervisory Committee!

The Supervisory Committee is an independent body of credit union members who act as a liason between the membership and the Board of Directors. Volunteers are needed for the Supervisory Comittee. Read More>>
