We take your privacy very seriously. The staff of Chino Federal will not divulge your personal information to any outside party, except as required by law. Some of the steps we take to protect your identity include:
- Requiring identification before disclosing sensitive account information
- Destruction of non-essential documents that contain sensitive information
- Compliance with federal regulations to protect your identity
Chino Federal Will Never Ask You For:
- The Credit
Union will NEVER send you an email asking you for, or to verify sensitive
account information, because we already have it.
- The Credit Union will NEVER place an automated telephone call to you asking you for, or to verify your account number or other sensitive information
- Never respond to Internet or telephone requests
that you did not initiate from anyone asking you to verify your financial
institution's account information or account number.
- Provide
sensitive information only if you initiate the phone call.
- If you did not initiate the phone call, attempt to obtain the caller's phone number and report this information the Credit Union immediately!

to place a fraud alert on your account
- Contact
one of the three major credit bureaus and discuss weather you need
to place a fraud alert on your file:
